Inventory in motion.
A proposed RFID-enabled warehouse inventory and asset-tracking system. The concept explores how reader hardware, compact edge gateways and a Linux-based service could work together to make stock movement easier to observe and reconcile.

Make physical inventory easier to see.
StockTrace imagines a workflow where tagged items can be checked at receiving, storage and dispatch points. Instead of relying entirely on manual updates, RFID events become a starting point for a clearer movement history.
02 / SYSTEM SHAPE
Hardware close to the action. Software behind the scenes.
In a proposed architecture, RFID reader modules feed tag events to ESP32-based edge gateways. A Linux host receives normalized events, applies business rules and presents inventory activity through a lightweight web interface.
03 / DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
Useful beyond the happy path.
The exploration considers duplicate-read filtering, device health, intermittent connectivity, event timestamps and the need to reconcile automated reads with human-confirmed stock movements.
Portfolio note: StockTrace is an illustrative independent concept created to demonstrate a relevant technical direction. The interface and architecture are conceptual; no warehouse deployment, measured results or customer engagement is being claimed.
